In everything give thanks... I hope each of you take the time to reflect on all your blessings today.
Life is not always easy, but when we focus on the good it heals our souls. I think that is one of the reasons I love to craft! The cares of the world seem to fade away when I am creating!
I am blessed to have a hobby that not only 'takes me away!' but also sends encouragement or a smile to those I love.
I can... I love Halloween, it's just fun... but Christmas always catches me by surprise!!
This year I am starting early!! I don't know about you, but I find myself giving gift cards more often these days and sometimes feels a bit impersonal... but NOT if you make a HANDMADE gift card holder! Suddenly, your loved one will feel SO special!
Using the Stampin' Up! Blending Brushes are so important when working with such FINE elements. The brushes glide so smoothly, so it doesn't bend or break your die cuts, no matter how delicate they are!
I used the new Evening Evergreen, Cherry Cobbler, Early Expresso and Crumb Cake Inks!
Leave a comment and let me know what you think!
Want to see how easy it is to make this cute card? Then check out this Stampin' Up! Christmas Pines Tuck Fold Gift Card tutorial! SUPER EASY!!
Here are some of the Stampin' Up! products I used... the DSP is retired, but I still LOVE it!
The Stampin' Up Peaceful Deer Bundle is SO much FUN!
I remember watching Bambi when I was a child... no it wasn't black & white... because it was at the Drive In!! LOL!
Ever since my tears dried up, I have been in love with cute little deer. I love this little deer, especially because it is a PUNCH! Who doesn't prefer to just line up and PUNCH!
And if this little bundle wasn't fun ENOUGH... Stampin' Up had FREE matching DSP in the Sale-A-Bration catalog!
This card is a Slide and Lock technique. Did you notice the CUTE black and white striped enamel dots??? I think this was the MOST fun! I created these out of Perler Beads! YES!! Just stand them on end and bake at 350 for about 13 minutes and PRESTO!.. you have enamel dots!
I have created a tutorial to show you how easy it is to create this fun card!
Time for another creative JOURNEY using Stampin' Up products!
Hope you all had a safe and fun FOURTH OF JULY!!
It really snuck up on me... so we had a quiet evening, watching our city fireworks from our porch! Our goats also enjoyed the show, however I have decided next year we are going to have a big celebration with all our grandkids.. it's just not the same without them!!
Speaking of 'sneaking up!'... our new mini catalog will be here before you know it! PLUS! A SECOND Sale-A-Bration!! That's right... more information to come, so stay tuned!
This is a fun card I made about a year ago. I used a retired butterfly die, but you could certainly use the newBUTTERFLY BRILLIANCE BUNDLE in the new Annual Catalog!
As always... you can take a 'Creative Journey' with me on my YouTube channel to see how to create this card! Please note.. there is a Part 1 and a Part 2! LOL.. have not learned how to splice two videos together yet, and forgot to put my phone in airplane mode!
Time for another creative JOURNEY using Stampin' Up products!
This JOURNEY was SO much fun! I started with the Pansy Patch Bundle... such a wonderful set of stamps and dies! I think this is one of my all time favorites!!
The AMAZING thing, was taking plain Basic White Cardstock and a base of Very Vanilla Cardstock and turning it into a work-of-art!! Of course, the magic came from the Stampin' Up Blending Brushes !! I just loved how easily my colors blended, and how each die cut turned into a stunning addition to this card!
Check out my YouTube tutorial... you can see the difference between 'other' blending brushes and Stampin' Ups brushes!
So I saw a post, with this amazing Butterfly card, where the wings actually FLAPPED! I knew I had to figure this out! So I searched YouTube and found a video geared towards kids that showed how to make a butterfly's wing flap!! I adjusted it and TA DA!!!! Let me know what you think.. you'll have to visit my tutorial to see it in actions!! All dimensions and links to all products used can be found in the description! You can get there here - Butterfly Motion Card
I used a retired Stampin' Up Butterfly die, but can't wait to try it with the new BUTTERFLY BRILLIANCE BUNDLE ! I also gold embossed the frame with using TEAR & TAPE ADHESIVE ! YES... you can use tape runner to adhere your gold embossing powder and then use your heat gun!
But WAIT... there's MORE!
Have you tried Stampin' Up's GILDED LEAFING yet?? Well did you know that our MULTIPURPOSE LIQUID GLUE dries tacky.. so you can gold emboss OR use it with the gold leafing, just like I did on the butterfly!
Time for another Creative Journey, using Stampin' Up products!
Just when I decide I absolutely have ENOUGH flower stamps and dies.... here comes Stampin' Up's Pansy Patch Bundle!! I cannot tell you how AMAZING this bundle is... and the dies also emboss, creating the most realistic pansys!! (is this supposed to be pansies??)
I created this card using the Pansy Patch Bundle, along with the most amazing blending brushes ever! I have MANY but the Stampin' Up Blending Brushes are the smoothest, silkiest, best-blending brushes!
Take a look at how easy it was to create this card in the video below! Then hop on over to my Stampin' Up website and gets yours NOW!! (These are SO popular, I'm sure they'll be on back order soon!)

I just love the sentiment 'You Brighten My Path' in Stampin' Up's Campology stamp set, so I thought I'd take this sentiment to heart with this LIGHT UP masculine card. I also used the retiring Beautiful World stamp set to make a graduation card for my grandson, changing the sentiment to 'Adventure Awaits' and the inside sentiment to 'Congratulatons on this new beginning'.
I don't know about you, but masculine cards are harder for me... no flowers... no bling... no glitter... lol, so this technique give me my POP without being girly!
It's been a while since I've been here... so it looks like it time to catch up and move forward! I have been very busy with my Stampin' Up business and I have SO much to share with you!
