Laminators aren't just for the teacher's lounge anymore!!I Recently I saw some card makers using LAMINATORS and I just HAD to give it a shot! Come to find out, there are SO many different techniques using a laminator! Who'd a thunk???
This card was a lot of fun. But aren't shaker cards always fun!!! In this case, I used the Elements of Text stamp set. I stamped the circle text from the stamp set with the Stampin' Up! White Pigment Ink Pad, inside the laminating sheets. (Video) Now I know you can stamp pigment ink on SU Window Sheets, however pigment ink does not dry easily on non-porous surfaces, and even if you do heat set it, it will still scratch off in time. But with the stamping INSIDE the laminated sheet, it is definitely permanent! Plus you can add glitter, sequins, fill and more in between the two sheets also! This gives even MORE dimension to your shaker card!
I just held a couple of workshops where we used a couple of different laminator techniques, and I have many more ways I've played around with.
