My previous blog shared the unfortunate loss my family has endured due to our barn catching on fire... our house is tiny so most everything we have was in it. But crying is not going to make it reappear, but living by faith is the beginning of restoration.
Faith and some amazing friends and family. I noted on my previous post that my granddaughter, who has given me two of the most handsome, adorable great-grandsons immediately set up a 'Go Fund Me'... I was so surprised to see generous donations by some people I have never met. Fueled simply by compassion.
Then I had far off stampers, I may have met once or twice sending me boxes STUFFED with crafting supplies! Some are Stampin' Up! demos and have sent me everything I need to get back to the crafting table! Others I will be creating amazing cards with and spreading the kindness.
I also attend two demonstrator swaps each month... some attended my workshops each month. You know I lost every card I have ever created... but a very special friend not only gifted me back the last cards we made at our January workshop, she framed one we made that day. A square 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card using a PaperTrey Ink Reflections stamp. Tell me this was not God going before me during that workshop!
Isaiah 61:3 says God will give them beauty instead of ashes. He is keeping His promises, even today, through so many 'angels' God has surrounded me with. Although looking through the window back towards the barn, still makes my heart drop... my faith will not be shaken.
I will be creating a video on my YouTube Channel very soon. Until then, I will keep you updated. Feel free to hop over to my Stampin' Up! shop and help support the rebuild by purchasing your favorite Stampin' Up! products!
